Daniela in the garden of our cabin in Warnitz in November 2016. She had dreamed of a cabin with a garden since a long time, and during her first chemotherapy in spring 2015, she bought this cabin, which she loved over all places.

This is the first of three photos that Daniela had copied into the root folder of the image archive.

"Alive" is the last, incomplete work by Daniela Swarowsky who died of breast cancer in the morning of 1 June 2019.
